ASP.NET/VB.NET & SQL Server 2008 Developer

To assist with this growth as well as to support our existing World-Class client list we are looking to recruit a VB.NET/ASP.NET developer that has cloud based application development experience in a commercial environment.

The prospective candidate should also live within a reasonable commuting distance and will be working out of the Emerson's Green office everyday. Key roles would include:

• Design & Develop Web Applications/Services on a .NET Framework and a SQL Server 2008 platform
• Maintain existing Web Applications/Services
• Provide front line support to clients as required
• Create technical documentation to support any development you are involved in
• Work unsupervised on small projects as well as part of a team for larger projects

Key Skills:

• 3-5+ years commercial development experience with a proven track record and strong portfolio
• Proficient in developing solutions in VB.NET/ASP.NET Framework for Cloud/intranet Applications and services
• SQL Server 2008
• HTML/CSS

Desirable Skills:

• Mobile device app development and deployment
• Legacy Classic ASP experience
